HGV Driver

Reports to the Plant Manager

Needs to Have

Full Clean driving licence

Min 3 years in similar role

Experience of loading bulk items

Category C Licence

Up to date CPC

Digi Tachograph Card

Needs to Do

Deliver utility poles to and from job sites with Truck Mounted Crane.

Delivery of plant and material as required.

Ensure all deliveries are handled correctly, protected and arrives at site fit for

purpose.

Daily inspection of plant and report deviations to Plant Manager in a prompt

manner

Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and

equipment.

Comply with driving rules and regulations in conjunction with KTL driving

procedures and policies.

Be aware of and ensure compliance with KTL’s SHEQ Management System.

Out of hours work occasionally required to react to client needs. i.e. storm damage

Plant CSCS Cards desirable but not a requirement.

Ad-hoc tasks as required by Plant and Project Team.
